So, this has become our every week breakfast joint. The thing is pretty much everything they make is good and there are many items that are great. Also the coffee is included with the price of your meal!? :-)

The prices are very reasonable the food is made in front of you, And even though you do have to sit at a bar for around 60 people, the atmosphere is relaxed and happy and it's really a nice view.

Can't believe I haven't update this review till today. The Sofrito Hash (extra crispy) with 2 eggs over easy will have you in heaven if you like a little heat in the morning.

Blueberry pancakes are still sure to please. Kids always enjoy the plain pancakes or the cinnamon roll French toast which is quite decadent.

They now serve lunch as well and the chicken and waffles with the spicy syrup is absolutely delicious.

Enjoy this unique countertop breakfast or lunch experience.

Nice spot for breakfast. The egg dishes looked great and and plentiful. The coffee is very flavorful and complimentary! Cinnamon roll is very nice,

I wish the french toast was better. Seemed a bit plain.

    Staff is friendly.

Fred's has been part of my biker group's common stops for breakfast. I hadn't been there until recently when we found they're also open for breakfast. I had the Veggie Thing which is a huge mix of egg and vegetables served along with potatoes.
The restaurant is nestled back off the main road and has a small parking lot. The owners are very friendly. The food is immense and reasonably priced.
The place is set up like a large luncheonette with only counter service. I believe there are some small tables around the big counter area.
I believe the name Fred's comes from their beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog who we got to meet while visiting as well.

We are new members of Fred's following two guest appearances with friends (who are long-time members.)  This was now our third visit as members and each time the experience only got better if that is possible.

We love the list of "17" house rules that come with your membership and the two lovely owners (+ the dogs) have a great sense of humor and sense of community as to how they'd conceived the environment that is the "Fred's Experience".

You are greeted with smiles and morning salutations not just from the staff but from fellow dinners.  A pleasant and tasty atmosphere.

From the bottomless cup of coffee you self-serve to the wide aware of food options.  Super fresh and very well thought out ingredients and recipes.

You sit around the U-shaped counter and are encouraged to befriend, or if you are shy, a cordial hello greeting to your fellow dinner next to you.  Leave not spaces as they are coveted seats.

For this visit, we finally gave in and tried a small order of the special pancake with apples, walnuts, and other tasty delightful toppings (no whipped cream), and for our core breakfast dish we devoured the smoked salmon eggs benedict-- one change, tossed the homefries for awesome grilled tomatoes and swapped the English muffin for a biscuit... WOW!!!!!!!!  So good.  The biscuit soaked up the running egg. Yummy.

See our food photos, tried to disguise the missing bites taken out of the pancake before taking the picture.
